Install it in a few steps
Firestick & Android TV
- Check that Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options is showing. If it isn't, open My Fire TV → About and click your device name seven times.
- Search for Downloader on the home screen and install it.
- Turn on Install unknown apps for Downloader.
- Open Downloader, enter the code we sent with your login and press Go.
- Press Install, then Open. Sign in with your Motion username, password and server URL.
On Android TV and Google TV, install Downloader from the Play Store and follow the same steps.
Android phone or tablet
- On your phone, tap Download the app on this page.
- Open the downloaded .apk file from your notifications or Downloads folder.
- If asked, allow your browser to install unknown apps, then go back and tap Install.
- Open the Motion app and sign in with your Motion login.

Why does my Firestick ask about unknown apps?
Amazon asks for permission before installing any app that isn't from its own Appstore. Turning on "Install unknown apps" for Downloader only allows installs you start yourself.
The Downloader code doesn't work. What now?
Check the digits, make sure your Firestick is online, and update Downloader to the latest version. Still stuck? Message us and we'll send a direct link.
Do I need a Motion subscription?
Yes. Sign in with the login from your plan or your 24-hour free trial.
Can I use a different player instead?
Of course. Your Motion login works in any Xtream Codes player, such as IPTV Smarters or TiviMate, and in the web player.
How do I update the app?
Download it again with the same Downloader code or link and install it over the old version. Your login stays.
